The Love Seat

The Love Seat is two parts: resale store and furniture bank. All proceeds from the store support our programs, and donations to the furniture bank allow families in crisis and transition to have a home filled with essential household items - everything from furniture to dishes. Volunteering at the Love Seat is an easy way to serve Columbia and get more involved in our mission!

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

• Deliver donated furniture with a group

• Move a family or individual into new housing with a group

• Clean and prepare furniture

• Sort and clean small donation items (clothing, housewares, books, etc)

• Pack boxes of small household items for families or individuals

• Repair and clean donated electronics / appliances

• Help with the facilities and grounds upkeep
